RCEN Newsletter – Guidelines

Publication Schedule

The RCEN Newsletter is published twice a year, in March and September.

Aim of the Newsletter

The RCEN Newsletter aims to:

  • provide a space for communication and exchange among network members
  • support getting to know relevant work, discussions, and debates on educational relationships across different settings (e.g. kindergartens, schools, universities, community and social contexts)
  • highlight both research-based and practice-based work related to relational pedagogy
  • make the work of the RCEN network and its members visible within and beyond the network
  • initiate reflection processes and share information about activities within the network

The newsletter is open access - everyone is welcome to read it, and we warmly invite interested readers to join the RCEN network.

What Can Be Published

We welcome contributions related to relational pedagogy and educational relationships, including but not limited to:

  • topics addressing relational pedagogy in theory or practice
  • (scientific) publications, research projects, and events related to educational relationships
  • network activities and initiatives
  • examples of good practice, educational tools, or resources
  • short reports from workshops, seminars, or events related to educational relationships
  • reflections from practice (e.g. educators, social workers, or school leaders describing relational challenges, dilemmas, or innovations)
  • interviews with network members or conversations between researchers and practitioners that bridge perspectives
